The RRF converted a ranch house, purchased as part of a half-acre lot in the 2000 block of N. Riverboat Road, to office space in 2014.
The house formerly belonged to Dolores Lazenby, whose parents once operated a bait and tackle shop on the property that borders the Milwaukee River.
Today, the RRF office features a green roof consisting of plants and solar panels. The pitched roof absorbs rain water and creates oxygen, while the solar panels generate energy.

on the slope. Along with green infrastructure, RRF has transformed the property to include native vegetation and a yoga pad for meditation and recreation.
